TLF Dance Foundation Inc., a non profit 501 C3 Organization, was formed in June 2017. The mission of TLFDF is to bring dance to the underserved communities in our area. It is our belief that everyone can enjoy the benefits of dance.

“Connections”, a line dance program for Autistic children was first implemented in July 2017. This program is designed to improve interaction, socialization, and communication skills which will increase the ability to connect with others.

“HeartBeats” is a program designed for those recently diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease. This ballroom dance class program focuses on patterns of dance which can affect cognitive ability. Dancing also encourages physical activity, social interaction, and feelings of well being, thereby enhancing the quality of life for the participants.

“Soldiers Who Salsa” is a program that originated at The Naval Medical Center in San Diego, California. Their mission is to enhance and enrich the lives of wounded, ill and injured active duty and veteran service members of the U.S. Armed Forces and their families. We have partnered with them to bring this unique program to the Hampton Roads area.

Our programs are FREE to participants and are funded through your generous donations.
